Purchased a MINI 2133 in September of 2008, Yesterday it froze up on me and I shut it off. Now it doesn't come back on and It looks like the motherboard has died. I contacted support only to be told that my warranty had expired on Sept, 19th of this year. After I received it and it got set up by the company I didn't use it for a complete year before it died. I've seen reference to several hundreds of these units experiencing motherboard failure and HP hasn't done anything about it. I have purchase everything from HP since I started here a little over 10 years ago, HP Servers, Switches, Printers and workstations and this is not the kind of support I've come to expect from HP. The HP Mini 2133 is junk, take a look around.

I've had 2 HP desk top computers (Models a250e & S3120N)  that worked only just about within their warranty period of a year. HP refused to fix them. My friends have the same experience with HP products. Save yourself the grief- don't make the mistake of buying any HP products.

I also Bought two hp pavilion ze4500 lap tops for my daughters that only lasted 18 months. That is the average live span of their products!! They stink. I will gladly jump on any class action again s hp. They deserve to be punished!

I purchased an HP p6213w-b for around $800, primarily because HP advertised (on the box)  this as an HD monitor/system. Unfortunately there was no HD cable. To make matters worse, there isn't even an HD video card installed, and to make matters even worse than this,  the installed (onboard) video card only accepts VGA. To advertise this as an HD monitor/system is criminal, given what's included. As it is now to late for me to return this I am going to investigate the "Truth in Advertising" implications of HP's blatant false advertising. It is also my intention to spread the word about the "new HP" and how they are ripping consumers off. This is criminal and I will do everything in my power to tell the world about their business practices.

I have a HP color laserjet CM2320NF MFP and I was buying original HP ink cartridges until I found a way to fill the ink for a quarter of the price. I notice when refilling the original cart that about half the ink was still useable in the cart and had to empty and waste this ink simply because the printer chip was falsely saying that the ink was empty and needed to be refilled. Also, it seemed when using the original hp cart bought from the store that I was forced to change all four cart just because one was supportively empty. Now I have been refilling the cart with aftermarket ink and a aftermarket chip found on Ebay. Why is a set of four cart able to last me more than one month when the original sets lasted only 1 to 2 weeks? The answer is because HP chips are set to falsely tell you the ink is empty when cart are used half way. I use to spend over $600 a month on original HP ink. Now with the same exact printing habits I am spending less than a $100 a month on the refills. I have refilled, researched, and documented my findings if any lawyer would like to contact me. I can clearly prove based on pure facts that the original HP ink cart chips are frauding consumers into thinking they need to change a good ink cart when in fact the cart is still half full. My experience shows the aftermaket refill inks and chips placed into the orignal HP cart will last at least twice as long as the ink is near empty when the printer tells you to replace it.

I purchased a HP MD6580N 65 inch DLP rear projection TV Feb 17, 2006. On May 9 2010 TV video started flickering. I called HP at 1-800-474-6836 and talked to tech support. They said TV was out of warranty and if I pay $629.00 they would send parts and tech out to my house and fix the problem. They sent part and tech but did not fix problem. They sent another part and tech and did not fix problem. I talked to a HP tech over the phone and he said that the correct part should be a light engine or \"engine module\" as listed in manual. I asked if he could send part and he said he would talk to his supervisor. Part was never sent. Repair Tech that showed up at door called HP and asked HP to send engine module. They said they would and sent power supply instead for the 2nd time. I just received a call 5/21/10 at 8:00AM from Rodney Harrison at HP and he asked if tech fixed problem with part that was sent out. After I quit laughing and told him that he knew they were sending wrong part and that I tried to convey that to the repair tech with no luck. He addmitted that HP no longer supported the part I needed. I asked him what HP was going to do next. He asked if I had a receipt and when I purchased TV. I told him I did and it was Feb 2006. He said HP would refund my 629.00 plus $499.00. They will send out company to pickup at no cost. I paid $4999.00 plus $10.00 recycle fee four years ago and feel I should receive a better settlement. The TV had a great picture until the day it quite

I bought my MD6580N 65 inch DLP rear projection TV just 4 years ago (May, 2006). I bought an extended warranty also. Just my luck, the TV breaks down two weeks after the extended warranty runs out. I called HP. After about 1/2 hour of troubleshooting over the phone , I am told that the main board is bad. They charge me $680 (after taxes) to fix it. They send the wrong parts twice, then after a few heated phone calls and two weeks go by, they ship the main board. It doesn't fix the TV. After all of that, they notify me that it is the engine that is bad and they no longer support those. I am told that if I find one on my own, they will deduct the price from what I owe them! I can't find the engine, and so now I am stuck with a dead TV for which I paid $4k four years ago. Never again will I buy an HP product. I hope someone files a class action suit. I would love to be a party to one. Also, I will make sure all of my friends and family know never to buy HP products again. Ever!! P.S. They offered to refund my expenses and I agreed, just to terminate my relationship with HP. A few days later, I received a box with a low voltage power supply, to add insult to injury. Morons!

HP Plasma TV - no picture just sound Model #PL4260N. When are they going to be made to pay up?
Answer:  We have had a "Donation button" on this page for months, to fuel an attack on HP, and none of you .... have contributed a single dollar. If you want something resolved, take part in the action; otherwise, HP will never be made to pay. The HP Crap CAr Event is soon to be abandoned, and HP will win; all of the efforts we have made to help all of you have apparently been in vain.

HP sent me an e-mail on 10-21-10 at 6:29a.m. PST. It indicates a dv6tse laptop with an upgrade to an I7 processor, a 1 TB drive, 9gb of ram, a 1gb graphics card and a 2 year limited warranty. These were free upgrades with a starting price of $799.99. Went to purchase this system and found that the ram could only be upgraded to 8gb (several laptops now have 3 slots making it possible to upgrade to 12gb so 9 gb [3-3gb chips] is possible) and at the conclusion of the upgrades the price still reflected $1564.99 not $1014.99 (the price minus the upgrades claimed to be free (I added a backlit keyboard, and a blue ray drive). I contacted HP by chat within one half hour of the initial e-mail trying to find out why the additional items in the original email were not deducted from the total. After 1 hour of chat all I got was they only have a similar upgrade on a desktop not a laptop. I forwarded the email and have been emailing back and forth with their myhpsales@hp.com address in addition to sending the e-mail, chat transcript and a letter to HP headquaters in Palo Alto California to get the offer honored (at least up to the capabilites of the laptop. Today, 10-24-10 I received an e-mail basically indicating they were not even going to attempt to honor the email and their webmaster was working on "correcting the e-mail offer". Over the last 4 years I have bought 4 HP laptops. Two of those were for me and my wife, one for my mom and one for my sister. The 1st one I had was a DV5000 and the screen started to flash, the battery died after 4 months and the charger broke after 6 months. The second one I bought in 2008 was a DV2000. The screen died after 10 months, the battery died after 5 months and I changed two chargers on one year because they will rip. The screen also broke where it connects with the base. In the mean time my mom's laptop (Dv1220) lasted one year and 10 months. Now the the caps and num lock key is blinking is flashing once every second which per HP's website means the CPU is fried. Oh and the battery died after 11 months. My sister's HP I made a present to a her and the screen died after 10 months, the battery after 8 months and the charger after 7 months. This was a Dv2000 model. We have bought these laptops between 2006 and 2008 and I swear I will not touch an HP laptop ever in my life again.

I too have a tx1000 which was supposed to have a working touch screen when I purchased it. I was lied to by HP sales. After the unit arrived I had massive problems with support people who were so dumb they were googling the problems and cutting and pasting them in chat sessions. After several months an HP supervisor told me that if I would keep the tx1000 she would give me a 4 year ADP warranty. The wifi on the tx1000 was also a notorius problem and then that went. I sent it in for repair and they returned it with my hard disk wiped, costing me 2 days of software re-installation and reconfiguration. They left off the wifi card cover plate so afterwards that was just exposed on the bottom. 3 and 1/2 years from purchase date suddenly blacks out, apparently due to a bad power jack. HP then won’t chat with me online saying I have no warranty. After I call, I got put on hold by a woman in India for 1.5 hrs. Then I get an HP survey in an email. At the end of the survey it asks if I would like to speak to someone at HP about the problem. Later an HP “Case Representative” calls and explains that HE is as HIGH as this is going to go. He says I was giving a 3 year ADP warranty not a 4 year… I never received any documents so how could I now dispute this – it was purely my trust of the HP supervisor 3 years before. Then he says they already did $800 worth of repairs. I told him that he didn’t do $800 in repairs because I did anything to the tx1000… they did the $800 worth of repairs because their product was defective.

My wireless button goes haywire and just will not stop. It happened on my first computer, I sent it in 3 times and eventually got a replacement. The replacement is now doing it. How can i stop this vicious circle that is going to keep happening. I am losing money everytime my computer is away for weeks at a time. I just contacted the Better Business Bureau, as well as a random Lemon Law Attorney I found online. Where else can I take this to plea my case? Would anyone be interested in taking this forward with me? I sent this message to the BBB, so here is my story:

I have been having a problem with HP since the first few months of getting my computer. After spending over $12,000 on computers from them in the past few years, my purchase of their $4000, maxed out, HP-DV8T CTO-1000 would seem justified. However the only thing this computer has brought me is nightmares. The problem, a defective ribbon susceptible to EMI (static, electro magnetic interference) which makes the touchpad wireless button blink on and off. Due to this, the computer is rendered useless because anytime I try doing anything, the wireless button goes haywire and disallows the use of any internet. Additionally, it interferes with my job of running a recording studio because I have to send back my computer weeks at a time to get it repaired. Additionally, when I do have it, any time I am recording and the wireless button blinks, it adds pops and clicks to my track; ruining the session I just did.

Bought the premium model of HP laptop 2 years ago, an X18T -1200, also called an HP HDX-18 Premium. A year ago, the laptop would not power on. I called HP, and was told it was 2 days out of warranty. I complained and spoke to multiple people, had a case, everything. As you can imagine, no one cared that it was only 2 days past the 1 year warranty. Low and behold, it turned out that the keyboard bracket had come loose. For some reason, this meant the computer had NO POWER whatsoever. I was told that the bracket cost 15 dollars, and shipping was 43 dollars. I was charged 100 dollars total, but was told I would be given an additional 1 year warranty. Guess what?! It is one year and TWO DAYS later. The laptop wont power on. Both my main battery and backup battery are fully charged. The laptop charging light is on, the power adaptor light is on. I am on hold with the 24 hour support line. It is half past midnight, PST. The recorded message is telling me that "due to high call volumes" I am the next in line to speak to a representative, the same message I have been getting for an hour.
